Dr. Adam Farzaneh, MD, a native of the Coachella Valley, completed his residency in Internal Medicine here at Eisenhower Health. After graduating with a degree in Biology from the University of California, San Diego, Dr Farzaneh earned his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine, where he was amongst the top in his class. During his medical training he was able to work in the Caribbean as well as Chicago, which provided him the diverse training necessary to be a well rounded knowledgeable physician. 

 

Dr Farzaneh is thrilled to be practicing medicine here in the Coachella Valley as he always intended to return to his hometown. He recalled The Desert Sun article on Eisenhower Health's upcoming residency program, and set his sight on doing that. As a child, Dr. Farzaneh cared for his ill grandmother, who suffered from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a rare brain disorder. It was this experience that kindled his passion for medicine and healing. 

 

"Going to the various specialists offices with my grandmother throughout her illness helped me understand the importance of trust, service, and compassion at a very young age," says Dr Farzaneh

 

Dr. Farzaneh desires to be a "sense of calm amidst the storm" for his patients as they seek the advice and the treatment they deserve. He takes the time to help his patients navigate the medical system while practicing preventive medicine and promoting wellness. Dr Farzaneh hopes to create a trusting bond between patient and physician to maximize quality as well as quantity of life.
